Welcome

In 2013, Greendale will celebrate its 75th Anniversary. There will be song; there will be dance and there will be loud music. It will be like a really good night at Ray & Dot’s, but on a larger scale. There will also be a semblance of decorum and order. After all, we are turning 75, not 21.

To help make sure this diamond anniversary gets it due, the Village of Greendale has created the Greendale 75 Anniversary Committee. We have a chairperson who, among her many fine qualities, has a hyphen in her last name. Just try to top that, Greenfield.

This web site that you stumbled upon is being made for two reasons: 1) Apparently this internet thing has some staying power and 2) serve as the town, er village crier, announcing all the great things that are coming to the Garden Community’s birthday party.

Just as certain as Jeremiah Curtain was the first G section resident, 2013 will be a fun-filled celebration. We have a great past – and a better future. Visit this site often (go ahead, bookmark it, you know you want to) and keep up with the fun.

Party on, Jeremiah.
Mission
To promote the history of the Village of Greendale, encourage the making of new memories of our current residents and foster the future ideas that will continue to make the Village a great place to live and raise a family.
