The Health Department in Greendale has received a one-time, short-term grant which provides for free Tetanus vaccine for adults 19 years of age and older.

Tetanus (also known as Lockjaw) is a disease that can occur if that particular bacteria enters your body through a cut, scratch or other wound. This disease can be fatal.

Protect yourself with this vaccine. Tetanus booster shots are recommended every 10 years for all adults. Immunity to tetanus decreases over time, so the shots need to be repeated.

If you need of a Tetanus booster call Greendale Health Department at 423-2110 to schedule an appointment. Clinics will be held through-out the summer.
