Greendale Community Charity Walk a Success!

On Saturday, June 19, 2010, over 100 people
participated in the Greendale Community Charity Walk
sponsored by Step Up. While a majority of the
participants came from Greendale, 17 other
communities were represented.
The Community Walk has been held annually for 12 years. New this year was the addition of the American Brain Tumor Association as a partner. $1,130 has been raised for the ABTA from registration fees and donations.
If they wanted, participants could designate a person or persons for whom they were walking. A board with those names is currently on display in National Bakery in Greendale. National Bakery donated food for the event and the Greendale Chamber of Commerce donated bottled water. Step Up would also like to thank Gary Fedder for his continued assistance with Step Up activities.
