The 2011 Village leaf collection will begin on Monday, October 17 and continue through  Friday, November 11. Leaves may also be brought to the Refuse and Recycling Center during regular hours of operation.  All residential properties will receive a leaf collection on each of the two recycling collection dates within that timeframe. Often the crews will complete the scheduled day collection a bit early and move into the next days route. We will always begin the scheduled collection day first regardless of previous collection activity.  Leaves should be placed in the street no earlier than one week before the scheduled collection and raked two feet from the curb in piles no wider than four feet.  Please remember that only leaves and grass clippings may be presented for collection.  Any leaf piles containing branches, brush, soil, rocks, trash or any other materials that could damage the collection equipment will not be collected and proper disposal will become the property owners responsibility.
