Beginning on Monday, October 4, Milwaukee County will rehabilitate the section of W. College Ave from S. 27th St. to S. 51st St. The road will be milled and capped with new asphalt and several areas will see drainage ditch improvements as well as culvert work. Work will begin at S. 51st St. and proceed east. Eastbound traffic on W. College Ave. will be rerouted to W. Rawson Avenue during that phase.

The eastbound phase is projected to take about 30 days with westbound traffic continuing as normal. When the eastbound phase is complete the process will reverse for the westbound phase. The project is expected to be completed by Thanksgiving.
