Program for All Ages!


Virtual BINGO Night

September 16th 7:00pm
Join the librarians of Greendale Public Library for the first ever virtual BINGO Night! The fun will begin at 7pm over Zoom with librarians calling numbers and showing off prizes. This is an all ages program and there will be prizes for children to adults! Stop by the library earlier starting at 9am to pick up a BINGO sheet from curbside or email greendale.reference@greendale.org for an electronic copy.

 

Programs for Teens!

Teen Kool-Aid Tie Dye

October 8th 4:00pm
Learn how to tie dye with Kool Aid! Pick up a Teen Tie Dye Kit from the library starting October 7th at 3:00om and meet Ms. Tara on Zoom on October 8th at 4:00 to Tie Dye together.  Each kit will include a cloth mask and pillow case to tie dye.  Supplies are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Teen DIY Bouncy Balls 
November 12th 4:00pm
Make your own bouncy balls from scratch with Ms. Tara.  Pick up a kit from the library starting November 11th at 3:00pm and meet Ms. Tara and other teens on Zoom on November 12th at 4:00pm to create your own bouncy balls.  Supplies are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Teen International Candy Tasting
December 10th 4:00pm
Join our teen librarian Tara for a zoom meeting to taste candies from around the world and vote on your favorite.  Pick up the International Candy Taskting Kit from the library starting December 9th at 4:00pm and join the Zoom meeting on December 10th at 3:000pm. Supplies are limited and are based on a first come, first served basis.

The Milwaukee Public Library's Historic Downtown Central Library is approaching its 125th anniversary. It has survived growth, additions, remodels and even pandemics as it continues to modernize to meet the Milwaukee areas' needs and support the other branch locations. Join us to see some 19th, 20th and 21st century images of the changes to public and staff spaces including some rarely seen areas.
