Programs for Children


Curbside Craft for School Age Children
Mondays at 10:30 am & 3:30 pm 
Pick up your Curbside Craft bag up at the front door of the library, Broad Street entrance. Kits are put out at 10:30 am and 3:00 pm, while supplies last. All crafts will be posted to our Facebook page too!

Boredom Buster Curbside Bags for School Age Children
Mondays at 10:30 am & 3:30 pm 
The themed kits have a craft, STEM activity and more! Pick up the Boredom Buster bag at the front door of the library, Broad Street entrance. Kits are put out at 10:30 am and 3:00 pm, while supplies last.

Preschool Virtual Storytime on YouTube
Thursdays at 10 am 
View our storytimes on the Greendale Public Library Youtube Channel.  New videos are posted on Thursdays.  Our storytimes include books, songs, rhymes, and more!   We also have a weekly “Curbside Craft” craft based on one of the storytime books.  Curbside Craft supplies are put out in front of the library at the Broad Street entrance on Thursdays at 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.  First come, first served.

HARRY POTTER POTIONS CLASSES: 
Wednesday, July 29 at 2pm
Friday, July 31 at 2pm
Attend one class or both!  Pick up potion supplies on Friday, July 24th in front of the library @ 10:30 am and 3:00 pm, while supplies last.   Please wear your Potter robes and have your Potter gear ready to show off!

Programs for Teens

Teen Trivia
June 16 at 2pm
Meet up on Zoom and take the ultimate trivia challenge to test your knowledge of books, music, pop culture, and other randomness. If there is a trivia topic you would like to see represented, submit it here: https://forms.gle/pvM9KHV5MJLprH697. Otherwise, there will be a lot of trivia questions on kpop and cats.  There will be prizes!

Teen Iron Chef Challenge
June 23 at 2pm
Join the Teen Iron Chef competition to see who can make the most creative dish with a random food ingredient.   Pick up a Teen Iron Chef kit at the library starting on June 16th. This kit will include your food item for the competition to take home. Using items from your kitchen and the provided food item from your kit, create something amazing!  Meet Ms. Tara on Zoom to present your dish and vote on food made by others! There will be prizes for Best Presentation , Most Creative, and Most Transformed.  Kits will be avaible on 18th at 10:30 and 3:30 while supplies last.

Teen Duct Tape Crafts
July 7 at 2pm
Pick up a Duct Tape Craft Kit at the library to take home starting June 30th.  Meet the teen librarian on Zoom on July 7th at 2pm to create fun and functional items out of duct tape.Kits will be avaible on July 2nd at 10:30 and 3:30 while supplies last..  

Anime Hangout
July 9 at 2pm
