Food scraps are taken to an industrial compost facility to be recycled into nutrient rich compost.  Industrial composting allows more items to be collected than backyard recycling.  Please click here for additional information on what can be brought in.

State law forbids electronic waste from being brought to landfills.  However, residents may bring their e-waste to the Refuse/Recycling Center during regular business hours.  Computers, televisions, printers, and other computer accessories, monitors, DVD players, VCRs, fax machines and cell phones can be recycled at no cost to you.
