Construction Update for June 9

College Ave.: As of June 9 the
grubbing and drainage work has begun. The stormwater
retention pond at the southeast corner of College
ave. and Loomis Rd. will be excavated soon. Please
remember that College Ave is only open to local
traffic.
S. 51st St.: Work is set to begin the week of June 14. Storm sewer reconstruction is up first followed by curb work and pavement removal. S. 51st St. will only be open to local traffic and motorists are urged to find alternate routes for the duration of the project.
Loomis Rd.: Work has begun on the Loomis rd project and expect thingds to ramp up quickly over the next few weeks. Expect delays, lane closures and reduced speed limits during this huge State of Wisconsin DOT project.
2010 Greendale Paving Projects: Preliminary storm and sanitary sewer work is underway. Sidewalk removal and replacement will begin the week of June 14. Please watch out for construction workers and traffic.
