Construction Update for August 3

Here is the latest update for all of the 2010 Paving
Projects within the
Village.
College Avenue: The west detention pond is excavated and will recieve a clay liner soon. Pulverizing of the old pavement and grubbing work is completed on the east portion. Look for the east detention pond excavation work and curb installation to begin soon. Sod restoration is well underway east of 60th St.
S.51st Street: Road bed stabilization continues in several areas as well as drainage improvement excavation. Please remember that the road is only open to local traffic.
Loomis Rd.... Work on the inner lanes, turn lanes and storm sewers continues for a few more weeks before work switches to the outer lanes. Please use caution in all work zones and use alternate routes when possible.
2010 Greendale Paving Projects: The 2010 Greendale Paving Program is now complete. Cotractors may still be seen watering/replacing sod in a few spots. Thanks to all residents for their cooperation and patience during construction.
