Construction Update for June 20
June 20, 2010
College Avenue: The work on the west
portion of this two-part project is proceeding as
planned. The road is shaped and nearly ready for curb
installation. The excavation of the
west stormwater retention pond has begun.
The road is open to local traffic
only.
S.51st Street: Construction begins on June 21. The road will only be open to local traffic.
Loomis Road: This Wisconsin DOT project is well underway and lane restrictions are numerous. Stormwater improvements, pavement milling and lots of orange barrels make for a busy work zone. Please use caution when traveling in work zones and obey the reduced speed limits.
2010 Greendale Paving Project: The curb, sidewalk, approach and underground work on the local streets is nearly complete. Expect milling and paving to begin within the next two weeks. Remember...If you cannot use your driveway due to construction you may call the Greendale Police Department at 423-2121 for permission to park on the street for free.
