Construction Update for July 21

Here is the latest update for all of the 2010 Paving
Projects within the Village.
College Avenue: Landscaping work is underway on the west portion of the project. The east phase grubbing and pavement removal will begin during the week of July 26. The road will remain closed to all but local traffic for the duration of the project to ensure the safest possible work zone.
S.51st Street: The pavement has now been removed and stormwater, sanitary sewer and water main adjustments are underway. Road bed and curb installation will begin soon. The road is closed to all but local traffic.
Loomis Road: Work continues on the inside lanes on the entire 8 mile project. Traffic is slow and delays are frequent. Please excersize caution when traveling in construction zones. As soon as paving is completed on the iside lane the work will move to the outer lanes.
2010 Greendale Paving Projects: The 2010 Paving Program is essentially complete. All project streets are now paved with only some sod work to be completed on Moorehead Ln. A contractor will pave the asphalt paths in the area of the Middle School within a few days and a small amout of cracksealing on select streets is scheduled to be done by the end of the month.
