Construction Update for September 23

College Avenue: The final layer of
asphalt is now in place and the intersection of
College Ave and S, 51st St. has been milled, reshaped
and new aspalt has been placed. The remaining
pavement marking, signage and landscaping will be
completed within the next week.
S.51st Street: Approaches and sidewalks are now completed. Landscaping, signage and the first layer of asphalt is scheduled to be completed before Oct. 4th. Of course thats weather permitting.
Loomis Road: Most work has transitioned to the outer lanes. Long delays will continue at the local road intersections near Grange Ave for several weeks as lane widening work continues. Please remember to avoid that area if possible and expect delays. The Village is working with the project owner, the State of Wisconsin to minimize traffic problems during this massive construction project.
