ValueLine Investment Survey’s Small and Mid-Cap Edition
The Greendale Public Library has recently added the ValueLine Investment Survey’s Small and Mid-Cap Edition to its investment collection. Geared toward individual investors and designed to enhance their standard Investment Survey, this weekly publication features consensus earning estimates, business descriptions, and Performance Ranks.
E-BOOKS
E-BOOKS are available via the CountyCat subscription to netLibrary and are available to be read online through a Web browser at any public library in Milwaukee County. The MCFLS collection of NetLibrary ebooks can also be accessed and read remotely by any library card holder in the MCFLS system. However, you are required to first visit any public library within MCFLS and the library staff will show you how to create a netLibrary user account.
WATTS UP? Power analyzer and watt meter
The Greendale Public Library now has our own Watts up power analyzer and watt meter which is an electricity monitor. It is a state of the art digital microprocessor, which measures both voltage and current measurements for true power. It will measure any 120 VAC appliance. The meter will be shelved at the Circulation desk and can be checked out for one week. Any questions can be directed to the Circulation staff or to the Reference Librarian.
MAGNIFICATION SYSTEM
The Greendale Public Library has a video magnifier for public use. The VideoEye Power Magnification System enlarges any item onto the 27 inch screen in black and white or color, allowing patrons to see whatever they bring in more clearly: newspapers, mail, prescription bottles, etc. We would like to thank the Greendale Lions Club for their generous donation of this equipment.

HOMEBOUND LIBRARY SERVICES
The library and its volunteers offer homebound delivery of library materials to Greendale residents unable to visit the library in person. To view the application and eligibility rules, click here. After completing the form, the resident should deliver the application to the library to be considered for homebound service.
The Collections
Library materials including hardcover and paperback books, large
print books, newspapers, magazines, audiocassettes, videocassettes and compact discs are
available for adults. A description of these collections can be found at The Library's Collections. A listing of these materials in all of
the public libraries in Milwaukee County may be found on MCFLS County Cat.
Readers Advisory
The Librarians at the Information Desk are always willing to help
patrons find something to read. Displays of books, both new and older, are available for
the public to browse. There is a three-ringed binder of reading lists in various
categories, as well as many books designed just for helping the reader determine what they
would like to read next. Be sure to stop by and ask the Librarian for reading suggestions!
