CLOSING POLICY

The Greendale Public Library shall close its doors due to an emergency weather situation when the Village Manager determines that conditions require the closing of Village operations.

If the weather emergency occurs after the daily closing of the Village Hall, the decision to close shall be at the discretion of the Librarian-in-charge after an attempt to consult with the Library Director.

In non-weather emergencies, the Librarian-in-charge will have the discretion to close the building after an attempt to consult with the Library Director.

When the library is closed, the following will be notified:

Greendale Village Manager

Greendale Police Department switchboard

Designated radio stations – (WTMJ (414) 967-5555)
