Whereas, Helen Hedrich represented the best qualities of a volunteer;

Whereas, Helen had shown a dedication to the library through her consistent loyalty and faithful attendance;

Whereas, Helen had carefully outlined, cut and glued countless animals and objects of all shapes and sizes for the pleasure of those who attend our storytimes and summer reading programs;

Whereas, Helen served as the chauffeur for the volunteers;

Whereas, Helen shared her good humor with all;

Whereas, Helen’s commitment to the Library remained endless.

Now, Therefore, Be It Hereby Resolved that the staff of the Greendale Public Library express our deepest appreciation to the family of Helen Hedrich for her years of service to the Greendale Public Library;

Furthermore, Be It Hereby Resolved that Helen Hedrich be recognized for her enjoyment of children’s art and Youth Art Month, and for her years of service as a volunteer at the Greendale Public Library with the addition in her memory of The Cow Who Clucked by Denise Fleming.
