Wireless Access Computers

Public Access Computers

The Library has a network of public access computers that includes access to the Internet and the Microsoft Office 2003 Suite (Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint). Residents can access the computers with their Milwaukee County Federated Library System card. Non-resident may access the computers by purchasing a one day pass for $1.00. Everyone who logs into the system is given one hour with the option to renew as long as there are no customers waiting to access the network. Printing on the networks costs 15 cents per page. Portable devices may be connected to the network and the network will save to a floppy disc.

The library also an iMAC with word processing software that is not connected to the Internet.

Photocopier

The photocopier at the Library can make regular, black and white photocopies. It can enlarge, reduce, make multiple copies, and do two-sided copies on paper that is either 8 1/2" x 11", 8 1/2" x 14", or 11" x 17". The charge for each copy is 15 cents.

Telephones

The Library has a pay telephone located at the outside Northeast corner of the Municipal Building.

Meeting Room

The Municipal Building has a meeting room that is scheduled through the Library Director. The room is 1,000 square feet and can be divided in two with a room divider. Catalog of Materials

The Library is a member of the Milwaukee County Federated Library System, and as such, uses the CountyCat computer system. Feel free to ask for help at the Information Desk when using the CountyCat in the library. To use the CountyCat from home, click on MCFLS County Cat.
