2022 Recommended Budget

The Village Manager presented his 2022 Recommended Budget at the October 19th Board meeting.

The Village Board will be holding Budget Worksessions on Monday October 25, Wednesday October 27 and Wednesday November 3 beginning at 6:00 pm at Village Hall.

Fall Leafing Schedule

Fall leaf curbside collection will begin the week of October 18th and continue through November 12th.  Your pickup day will be on your recycling collection day.

Halloween Trick or Treat

The Village has designated Sunday October 31 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm for trick or treating in the Village.  The Halloween parade will begin at 3:30 pm, line up at Jaycee Park.

Public Service Commission Hearing on Greendale Water Utility Rate Increase

The Public Service Commission has scheduled a hearing regarding the Greendale Water Utility's application to increase water rates.   The hearing will be held virtually on Wednesday November 17th at 10:00 am.

The increase is necessary due to a 2.54% increase in gross plant investment and a 11.22 percent increase in operating expenses since the last water rate case was completed in 2019.

Milwaukee County ARPA Task Force Requesting Input from Milwaukee County Residents

Milwaukee County will directly receive $183 million in ARPA funding through the federal government’s State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. These funds are intended to allow flexibility for jurisdictions to meet local needs and fund local solutions to support families, small businesses, impacted industries, essential workers and the communities disproportionately affected by the pandemic.

Village Board Adopts Resolution to Acquire and Extinguish Out-Dated Restrictons on Southridge Mall property

The Village Board approved a resolution at their June 1st meeting that will work to acquire the restrictive covenants governing the 100-acre Southridge Mall property and extinguish those which encumber all parcels associated with the mall and significantly limit redevelopment opportunites.

As of August 12, 2021, FDA authorizes additional vaccine dose for certain immunocompromised individuals* (only applies to Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine and Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine).
