Food and Nutrition Group (FANG) was formed to act on the Greendale Community Health Improvement Plan's nutritional priority of increasing consumption of fruits and vegetables among Greendale Residents.

The Community Garden at St. Thomas of Canterbury (STOC)
Master Gardener led gardening seminars will be hosted at STOC throughout the growing season. Seminars are open to community garden members and all Greendale residents. Check back here or on the Health Department Facebook page.

This was the beginning. The garden members and community residents attended the first in a series of gardening seminars led by Greendale Master Gardeners at STOC.
Then the community planted.
And then the gardens grew and grew.
This is what the gardens look like now, and probably even bigger!
