This website has information regarding court procedures, court calendar, payment options, and trial procedures. Greendale Municipal Court has jurisdiction in all matters involving violations of the Village of Greendale ordinances. An ordinance violation is classified as a civil offense, not a criminal offense. Every person accused of an ordinance violation has certain legal rights and responsibilities. You may be represented by an attorney, although the court does not appoint an attorney for you and the Village of Greendale does not pay your attorney fees and expenses. If you are found guilty in municipal court, the court typically imposes a monetary forfeiture. You are expected to pay the forfeiture when you make your initial appearance in court. However, if you need more time, the court will grant you time to pay. My goal as judge is to ensure that interests of justice are served while providing an environment that is fair and respectful to all parties.
