Government

Greendale was incorporated as a Village in 1938 and was governed by an elected general committee to coordinate activities and meetings.  This same Council-Manager system remains in place today.

Elected officials of the Village of Greendale include the Village President, six Village Trustees and the Municipal Judge.  The Village President holds office for a term of three years.  Village Trustees serve terms of three years.  The Municipal Judge holds office for a term of two years.

The Village Board meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Board Room at Village Hall.
